About Me:

"So who is this techiemike?" you might ask. Well, I originally got my name back in the 8th grade. It's not really that interesting of a name other than that I did sound and lights at a local theater. I added "techie" to my name and it became my nickname and internet handle.

Most of my technical experience, apart from working in the theater, has come from either working on things at home or doing inexpensive repairs, maintenance, etc for family members and friends. I've always had a knack for technology, ever since I was four (at least that's what I'm told). I started out on an old Packard Bell computer. From there I have had experience with many, many computers and other electronics. (This all may seem boring, but I suppose that's why you clicked "about me". If you want to read more, please continue.)

In early 2005, I started a podcast with two friends. It started out as a weekly technology podcast (to listen, click on the "links" page) , then developed into more subject areas from there. This is when I originally acquired techiemike.net. A year later (podcast cancelled and webhost bankrupt) I lost techiemike.net to another company and techiemike.com was already owned by another person. However, within the last year I have acquired .net, .com, and .info for purposes of archiving my personal things and to show my web site skills. As I said before, if you have any questions, inquiries, etc please don't hesitate to contact me at: techiemike@gmail.com

Thanks for reading about me.
